There are 72 circle blocks, 4 half blocks and a large centre medallion in Carolyn's interpretation of this quilt. The border to the quilt is 9 inches wide made up of circles and ovals with a small sawtooth edge to complete the quilt.
We have included a picture of the original quilt that was on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum London. Carolyn's George III as stated, is her interpretation of this quilt. When you look at the two pictures, I am sure you can see where the inspiration has come from.

The quilt fabric includes 112 fat eighths, and five metres of fabric.
